There’s nothing “standard” about this mailbox, so the old name had to go. As the original Fort Knox Mailbox that started it all over 30 years ago, it deserves a name that reflects its true purpose.
Just like The Bunker, this mailbox has earned its reputation through decades of reliable service. The new name — The Enforcer — captures what it does best: enforcing security, ensuring durability, and protecting your valuable mail exactly where it belongs.
Built for Strength
The only difference between The Bunker and The Enforcer comes down to material:
- The Bunker → 1/8" solid steel body and reinforced doors
- The Enforcer → 1/4" solid steel body and 3/16" thick reinforced doors
When you want absolute certainty that your mail is protected, The Enforcer eliminates every doubt — it’s built to be the ultimate line of defense.
How It Works
- The mail carrier inserts incoming mail into the top slot (9.5” W x 1.75” H).
- Mail drops into the locked compartment — only you have the key.
- Outgoing mail option:
- A flag and a small slot beneath the incoming slot are added.
- Holds 1–4 envelopes (must stick out ~1 inch for carrier to retrieve).
- Outgoing mail cannot be locked (per postal standards).
Additional details:
- The body of the mailbox has an overhang to protect against rain and vandalism.
- The door is secured with a 7-pin tubular pick-proof lock (upgradable).
- Pre-drilled on the bottom (4 holes, 5 ¾” apart) to fit Small Posts, or mountable on existing posts/surfaces.
- Finished with thick powder coating inside and out for durability.

All Fort Knox Mailboxes are built in the USA and ship directly from our facility in Grants Pass, Oregon. Each unit is fabricated for maximum quality and securely packaged to handle the stress of transit.
