It combines the proven design of our Fortress Mailbox with a separate lockable package compartment below. From checks and prescriptions to online orders, everything stays secure in one rugged unit.

Inspired by a Great Idea — From a Real Senator
One of our customers, a former Senator, asked if we could tweak the Fortress design to include a package section. We loved the idea—and the Senator Mailbox was born.
Today, it’s a favorite among folks who want no-compromise security for every kind of delivery.

How It Works
The Senator has three sections:

Upper Section (unlocked)
- Mail carrier pulls down the handle and inserts mail into the incoming slot.
- Outgoing mail rests on a separate enclosed shelf below the incoming slot.
- Cannot be locked (per postal standards) but is hidden behind the door.
- Includes a steel flag.

Middle Section (locked)
- Where you retrieve incoming mail.
- Always secure and accessible only with your key.

Lower Section (package compartment)
- Comes standard with a Slam Lock.
- To use: leave the door slightly ajar after retrieving packages; the carrier inserts new packages and closes the door, which automatically locks.
- Holds packages up to a large shoe box size.
Additional details:
- Pre-drilled on the bottom (4 holes, 6 ¾” apart) to fit Large Posts.
- Mountable to existing surfaces.
- Finished with thick powder coating for maximum durability.

All Fort Knox Mailboxes are built in the USA and ship directly from our facility in Grants Pass, Oregon. Each unit is fabricated for maximum quality and securely packaged to handle the stress of transit.
