STEEL
POSTS AND RACKS:
Fort Knox Mailboxes
can be mounted to just about any type of post
that is made out of most structural materials.
Our mailboxes come with four holes drilled in
the bottom of the mailbox for easy mounting to
multiple surfaces. We do recommend that whatever
you are mounting a Fort Knox Mailbox too is substantial
and can handle the weight of the mailbox. You
also want it mounted in a way that keeps the mailbox
from being stolen. If what you have is not going
to support your new mailbox, then we have a matching
57" long steel post that is pre-drilled to
match the holes in the mailbox. It installed just
like a fence post and depending upon what size
of mailbox you have will need to be buried 2 feet
in the ground and cemented in. If you need a post
to be surface mounted to a sidewalk or cement,
then we have surface mount posts as well. (Order
with mailbox)

NEWSPAPER
BOX: A
newspaper box makes a handsome addition to your Fort Knox Mailbox.
A newspaper box can be welded right to your post or you can have
it detachable. Having a 1/4" Solid Steel Newspaper box
will stand up to the strongest of severe blows from unwanted impact.
If you've ever had the trouble of replacing many of standard issue
newspaper boxes, we are sure you will appreciate a Fort Knox Newspaper
Box. If you have purchased a Fort Knox Mailbox without a newspaper
box and have noticed the need for one, it is still possible to get
one of these 35+ pound newspaper boxes. They now come detachable
for these (commonly needed) occasions and are powder coated to match
your Fort Knox Mailbox.

ALUMINUM SLIDE OUT TRAYS:
These 1/8" aluminum mailbox trays take the strain out of
getting your mail. No more bending over or reaching to the
back of the mailbox for that last piece of mail. Simply slide
the mailbox tray out just far enough to reach your mail or, pull
it out completely and into the car. Also included is the non-slip
"air-mat" to keep your mail free from moisture. Finally,
they are powder coated to give it that finishing touch.

CUSTOM DECALS AND STREET
ADDRESSES:
Fort Knox Mailboxes all come with included address numbers
on the front door. Do you want to add more personality to your mailbox?
Add your entire street address in either reflective or non
reflective numbers and letters.

LOCK OPTIONS:
All our mailboxes come with a high quality, pick-proof, 7-pin tumbler
tubular lock. We have used these locks for over 10 years with great
success. We do offer other styles of locks. One is our
"Slam-Lock" for people who receive packages often. Our
high security Abloy and Medeco Locks which are a more secure lock
for those who are worried about heavy tampering to their mailbox.
These locks are made to take a beating!
