NEWSPAPER
BOX: A
newspaper box makes a handsome addition to your Fort Knox Mailbox.
A newspaper box can be welded right to your post or you can
have it detachable. Having a 1/4" Solid Steel Newspaper
box will stand up to the strongest of severe blows from unwanted
impact. If you've ever had the trouble of replacing many of
standard issue newspaper boxes, we are sure you will appreciate
a Fort Knox Newspaper Box. If you have purchased a Fort
Knox Mailbox without a newspaper box and have noticed the need
for one, it is still possible to get one of these 35+ pound
newspaper boxes. They now come detachable for these (commonly
needed) occasions and are powder coated to match your Fort Knox
Mailbox.

ALUMINUM SLIDE OUT
TRAYS:
These 1/8" aluminum mailbox trays take the strain out
getting your mail. No more bending over or reaching to
the back of the mailbox for that last piece of mail. Simply
slide the mailbox tray out just far enough to reach your mail
or, pull it out completely and into the car. Also included is
the non-slip "air-mat" to keep your mail free from
moisture. Finally, they are powder coated to give it that finishing
touch. *Comes in our standard glossy black powder
coat finish*

WIRELESS LED INTERNAL
LIGHT: No
more reaching into a dark mailbox for your mail. With
this new automatic super bright twin LED light that never burns
out, you can see just what is hiding in the mailbox. The
battery operated light has no wires or installation needed.
If you happen to drop something on the ground, this new
light can easily be removed and used as a mini flashlight. All
batteries are included and comes with a 1 year warranty.

STREET ADDRESSES:
Fort Knox Mailboxes all come with included address numbers
on the front door. You want to add more personality to your
mailbox? Add your entire street address in either reflective
or non reflective numbers and letters.

LOCK OPTIONS:
All our mailboxes come with a high quality, pick-proof, 7-pin
tumblar tubular lock. We have used these locks for over 8 years,
in over 6,000 mailboxes with no problems. We do offer
other styles of locks. One is our "Slam-Lock"
for people who receive packages often. Next is our high
security Abloy and Medeco Locks which are a more secure lock
for those who are worried about heavy tampering to their mailbox.
These locks are made to take a beating!

Slam
lock:
This lock
is designed for those who receive packages larger than the 1
3/4" slot. The "Slam-Lock" is made so that
you can leave the main locked door unlocked to receive packages.
Your mail carrier opens the "Slam-Lock" by pulling
the polished chrome knob, takes your outgoing mail if needed,
and then places your mail and/or packages in the mailbox. The
next thing that is done is the mail carrier then shuts the "Slam-Lock"
door and it locks. You are once again the only one with
a key.

CAM LOCK:
All
Medeco cylinders are constructed of durable machined
brass components, designed to last the life of your
equipment. Hardened
stainless steel inserts inside the cylinder provide
the ultimate defense against drilling and other forms
of physical attack. Unique
elevating and rotating tumbler pin system is virtually
pick proof. Patented
Medeco3 keys may only be duplicated by Medeco or an
authorized Medeco service outlet, and only at your
request. Medeco
cam locks are completely serviceable, and can be re-keyed
in case of lost or stolen keys. Locks
can be keyed alike, keyed different, or master keyed
depending on your specific needs.

The
Vault lock and Vault Lock Extreme!:
Made
for those who just want EXTREME security. This lock acts just
like a vault where steel pins position behind a strip of steel
to keep anybody with some extra time on their hands out of this
mailbox. From the front of the mailbox it looks the like
our standard lock, but on the inside it shows the extreme measures
we take on security with this lock. The Vault Lock EXTREME!
is just like the standard Vault Lock, but instead of the standard
tubular 7 pin lock, it uses the above high security Medeco Lock.

Postal
lock: (for
larger companies and multiple mailbox options)
The Post Office
has agreed to have their "arrow" lock placed on
our mailboxes so that companies or multiple mailbox owners
can have their outgoing mail locked up. For these outgoing
mailboxes, the price is still the same as a regular locked
mailbox. Fort Knox Mailbox is unable to place the"Arrow
Lock" lock on mailboxes. Your local post office will
install the "Arrow Lock" once the mailbox is installed.
The purchaser of the Fort Knox Mailbox must contact their
local post office and see if this option is available in their
area.
